Description
Financial management of one of Alvarion's biggest projects in North America, including responsibility for the following:
- Working in cooperation with the project teams to develop and track project budget plans, schedules, back-office operations and more
- Leading the expenses and costs control in accordance with the project budget plan
- Managing and tracking project financial status
- Tracking gross margins and profitability
- Preparing weekly and monthly status reports and project updates
- Collection
- Revenue recognition
- Documenting and tracking activities, scope changes and lessons learnt
- Understanding the terms and conditions of all contracts to ensure that all cost elements are appropriately billed and accounted for
- Supporting the delivery of standardized finance processes, programs, tools and best practices for the project
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Finance Manager
- Experience in P&L Management of large projects
- Operational finance experience, strong cost accounting understanding, working with operations personnel responsible for making purchasing decisions
- Strong experience with Excel
- Strong data presentation and PowerPoint skills
- Superior analytical skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, growing, global organization
- Experience in the wireless, hi-tech and/or manufacturing industry (advantageous)
Education
BA in Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering or Accounting
